EXHIBITIONS

Bayt AlMamzar hosts a rigorous annual schedule of exhibitions, which encourage artists, curators and researchers to explore experimental modes of exhibition making.

November 18 - December 16

Current Exhibition

Tracing Displacement delves into the intricate and challenging circumstances arising from forced displacement caused by war, poverty and environmental factors.

Through painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, video and augmented reality, the exhibition contemplates disruptive conditions that challenge conventional perceptions of the built environment.

Going beyond traditional interpretations, these 'displacements' weave stories that confront the historical legacies of invasion and displacement. This exhibition brings to the forefront images, static, dynamic and synthetic to engage with these complex constructs.
